my thrifty bedside table

I have been thrifting like a fiend for the past couple of...oh dear...for the past couple of months.

I'd like to say that I list a lot of the stuff I find thrifting on my etsy store, but alas, I usually find the items to cute to live without.

And what happens when you get all sorts of cuteness together? Well my dear friends...you must show it off.

Today I am featuring my "bedside/reading" table:

framed embroidery/butterfly: thrifted, lamp:thrifted, books:thrifted, ceramic planter/plant: planted earth, fabric yo-yo cover: made by me, terrarium cover: hobby lobby, gnome candle: thrifted, old sewing table: garage sale

Coming up next: My dresser drawers!

Happy Thrifting!

Daily Outfit: Plaid and Stripes

coat: thrifted, shirt: thrifted, jeans: thrifted, boots: ebay, belt: forever21

I am SO lucky when it comes to shopping for clothes at thrift stores. Well, I guess some days are better than others, but lately, I've been finding some really great vintage pieces. Take this coat for example; cute cut, adorable plaid print AND it's warm. It was just sitting on the rack at the thrift, just sitting there waiting to picked up and loved. And boy do I love it. And Em, thanks for taking the pictures. Look at those angles-good eye!

Thrift Finds Tuesday!

handmade owl salt & pepper shakers. i picked up one thinking that it was just a cute figurine and then later discovered, it had a mate! lucky me.

1960's red doll trunk/wardrobe. *eep* i could not pass this up! look at the sparkles on the inside, and oh my word, i have the cutest idea for a christmas display with this in mind!

1960's yellow day dress. my mom hates it. or maybe the idea that she had one just like it when she was younger? :) i absolutely love the fabric, the lace at the neckline is my favorite!

vintage fairytale book. i'm a sucker for books. i'm a sucker for fairytales. i mean, come on, look at how adorable the cover is!

vintage hand towel. why you would ever wipe your hands on this adorable piece of artwork...i just don't know. and i will admit, this was not thrifted. no, i have been eying this at work (the planted earth) for the past month. i told penny that it was going to a good home. yep, i'm definitely getting it framed.
