Disneyland Entrance as of 2011  Walt Disney is truly a genius. From the classic blockbusters such as "Snow White" to the theme park, Disneyland, Walt has brought happiness and imagination. My family and I are avid Disney fans, and because so we visit Disneyland regularly. I thought that on our most recent trip it would be fun to compare Disneyland of the 1950's, to Disneyland of the here and now. A family visit in the 1950's  My family visit in 2011  I LOVE these outfits. I am addicted to anything vintage and these outfits are a must have. From the plaid skirts, to the vintage do, these Disneyland goer's are definitely stylish. Instead of skirts, us girls are donning pants! This was the warmest day of the week, and what better place to take a pic then at good 'ole Big Thunder Mountain?  Mad Tea Party as of 2011  One of my favorite things about this ride are the colors. I love the deep pinks and the bright purples. At night, the chinese laterns that hang above send out bright spots of color onto the spinning teacups. During our visit, Alice and the Mad Hatter decided to disrupt their very important date and join the tea party. Alice and the Rabbit as of the 1950's (Yikes!)  Meeting Jasmine as of 2011  I love Alice, and to find a vintage Alice picture makes me even more the happier! Her knee-high socks are my favorite. I don't know about that rabbit though...creepy. While walking through Adventure Land, we came across none other than Jasmine herself. She is gorgeous! |
