and it was...AMAZING.

My fellow friends and bloggers.

As you may know, I have been awaiting the premier of the Hunger Games for quite some time. I have been fangirling like it's nobody business. And when the night of the 23rd arrived I was hardly able to contain my excitement.

In order to properly celebrate the release of this epic film, I knew that I had to dress up. And dress up I did. Oh...we were legit...

Hannah, my little sister's best friend, accompanied me and Emily to the thrift store in attempt to find a "capitol" outfit. Emily found an amazing outfit for Katniss in the arena, and Hannah, well, you'll just have to check out the pictures to see.

I picked out an outfit for Sarah, braided her hair, and *BAM* she became Prim. I had Hannah curl her hair, then I put it up, spray painted it pink, and went hard to work on her makeup and *BAZINGA* we have Effie Trinket. Emily borrowed my boots and pants and surprisingly let me braid her hair. Complete with a bow and arrow *WHAM* Emily became Katniss in the arena. Sarah remembered I had the perfect dress to match Katniss's reaping outfit. I threw it on, quickly put my hair up in a braided ca-bobble and *WHOA* I was Katniss at the reaping.

You guys, the movie was perfection. I rarely enjoy books being converted to movies, but I was not disappointed in the slightest. Sure, there were some things that I thought were missing (more PEETA!), and things that they could have done right (the giving of the Mockingjay pin), but in all sincerity, I.LOVED.THIS.MOVIE. And I will hear no crap from anyone on Peeta, a.k.a, Josh Hutcherson. His incredibly attractive jawline astounds me. I love him.

So..to all my fellow Hunger Game fans...

May the Odds be Ever in your Favor!

holysmokesalmightyicannotwaitilovepeetaihopetheydothebookjusticeiamtotallydressingupaaahhh!

I just said that all really loud in one breath. Yes, that is how excited I am.

Went to the thrift store to get my sister's Katniss outfits, and a couple of Capitol outfits too. Might I just say that they are totally legit. With a capital "egit".

This is going to be the highlight of my whole year. I am not joking.

For your entertainment (but mostly mine) I have provided fandom pictures below:

You guys. I think I might die.

sink your teeth in...get it?

Saw Twilight:Breaking Dawn Part 1 (is that not the longest movie title in history) the other day...

Shall we review?

To be honest, I have been putting off seeing this movie. In fact, I was vehemently opposed to seeing the flick when it was first released because I didn't want ticket sales to beat out the fabulous Harry Potter. Being the nerd I am, I'd like to pride myself on the fact that Harry Potter ticket sales did beat Twilight ticket sales, but in all reality, who, but myself, cares? Also, I had heard that Jacob and his wolf pack have a telepathic meeting of sorts...that was enough to not only make me laugh hysterically, but to force myself to save the eight dollars that I might have spent on seeing the movie.

I thought that Kristin Stewart couldn't get any uglier than she already is. I now stand corrected, apparently she can...proof seen below...

Eeeeeewww....

I was a bit frustrated that she (Bella) looked constipated/and or about to keel over before her wedding, during her wedding and after her wedding. I then remembered the butt ugly guy (Edward) that she was marrying and it all made perfect sense. I mean, wouldn't you if you had to wake up to this every morning?

Anyways, I have to admit, I was entertained. I laughed..a lot. Especially the telepathic wolf communication scene which actually happened (i hoped against all hope that that sort of scene wouldn't be included). And props to the CGI/Makeup department. Seriously. The movie earned 3 out of 5 stars in my book, 1 star for the CGI alone and two stars because well, Jacob is so dang fine. The ending was epic. My sisters, my friend and I were all like, "HOLYHANNAHOHMYHECK!!"

It's been a long time since I said that at the end of a movie.
